History|
The Miss Niger Delta Beauty Pageant International is
an organization that is duly registered with the
Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria (CAC) with
Rc No: 404, 688. The organization has successfully
organized nine [12] editions of the pageant since its
inception in 1999.
The vision of the organization is embark on
programmes that would add value to the lives of
female youths of Niger Delta and at the same time
impact positively on the Niger Delta region.
The central objectives of the Miss Niger Delta
projects focuses on the following:

Promotion of re-orientation of values &
attitudinal change amongst the youths and people
of Niger Delta

Promotion of peace, love and harmony in the
Niger Delta.

Promotion of peaceful co-existence amongst
people of Niger Delta and other regions in
Nigeria and with investors and tourists.
-
Promotion of investment and tourism activities
in the Niger Delta especially in oil/gas sector,
construction, communication etc.
-
Promotion of socio-cultural integration.
Promotion of youth development, capacity
building, empowerment and economic emancipation.

Talent discovery and talent development.
-
Protection of the Niger Delta environment.

Promotion of participation of youths of Niger
Delta in various people oriented programmes of
government and non governmental organizations
such as:

Politics, peaceful elections and democracy.

Health, environmental protection and sanitation.

Community self help projects.

Early education.
-
Entertainment and tourism activities.

UNIQUENESS OF THE MISS NIGERIA DELTA BEAUTY PAGEANT
The Miss Niger Delta Beauty Pageant is not just about
funfair of providing entertainment and crowning of beauty
queens in the Niger Delta. This initiative is packaged to
encourage our talented young girls in the Niger Delta to
participate effectively in the promotion of re-orientation
of our cultural values, attitudinal change, peace,
investment, entrepreneurial business skills, education,
talent development, capacity building and sustainable
development in the Niger Delta.
